The Future of the Secondary Mortgage Market…..

Thanks to Paul Jackson from Housing Wire, I found the attached White Paper that was released yesterday.   Does it offer any life changing recipes for success in the mortgage world?   Nope.   However it does tell me a couple of things:

  1. There are people in the “higher ranks” of the mortgage world who are talking about the question: “What’s the mortgage world going to look like when this mess is all over.”
  2. The non-governmental (non-Fannie, Freddie or FHA) market remains dead.
  3. It’s a good overview of how things are supposed to work.

If you are interested in reading the entire white paper, you can download it at MBA White Paper on the Secondary Market

Enjoy!
